The Bishops Start a New Controversy

Article Abstract:

American bishops of the Roman Catholic Church are preparing a statement concerning the United States economic system. It is expected to be formally released in November 1985. It will be an official guideline for United States Catholics. The statement is expected to stir up a great deal of controversy. Many observers are concerned about the tenor the letter will take. Proposals for change are also being awaited.

Greyhound's New Strategy

Article Abstract:

When John W. Teets became chairman of Greyhound Corp. he brought with a physical fitness strategy for trimming the company. Teets has sold Greyhound's money draining companies in the hope of boosting Greyhound's equity. Teets has good business sense and is expecting good business growth for Greyhound in the future. Teets' management strategy is examined.
