A comeback after Hugo

Article Abstract:

Patty and Charles Eitzen have recovered their business after their Caribbean art gallery in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, Folk Art Traders, was destroyed in Hurricane Hugo. After losing $100,000 in valuable art works, the Eitzens invested the insurance money for their house loss into the gallery.

Using The Internet To Find Funds

Article Abstract:

There are increasing opportunities for companies to raise needed financing through the services of the Internet. For example, first online initial public offering raised $1.6 million in Feb 1995 for the Spring Street Brewing Co. This and other examples are discussed.
