Acquisition activity and organizational structure

Article Abstract:

The causal relationship between organizational structure and the motives for the acquisition and merger of corporations is made the focus of a theoretical debate. This debate comes as a result of an observation that industries are currently in the process of moving from traditional hierarchical organizational structures to more focused and flexible network forms, as facilitated by technological innovations in communication. Whether or not motive or structure is the precursor of corporate acquisition, it is clear that the assessment of targeted companies by network firms is based largely on the extent of autonomy of the target's operations. This would signify a shift in communications from horizontal to multidirectional and overlapping linkages. These network structures would provide the options for enhancing short- and long-range organizational objectives.

I have discovered that costs for onnlie degree authorities tend to be a fantastic value. For example a full 4-year college Degree in Communication with the University of Phoenix Online consists of 60 credits with $515/credit or $30,900. Also American Intercontinental University Online makes available Bachelors of Business Administration with a entire course element of 180 units and a worth of $30,560. Online learning has made obtaining your degree far less difficult because you might earn your own degree through the comfort of your house and when you finish from work. Thanks for all the tips I have really learned through your web-site.
