Ad agencies intend to return lucrative production work to U.S

Article Abstract:

In the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the U.S., a group of major ad agencies have resolved to return production work to the U.S., in a patriotic move to bring lucrative work home to assist the troubled economy. Marketers are accustomed to saving money by having ads produced abroad, so it may be difficult to convince them to go along if it will impact their costs. Young & Rubicam, Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann-Erickson and others have joined forces in the effort to bring TV commercial production back to the U.S., and especially to New York City.
