Are you a benevolent dictator? You should be!

Article Abstract:

The benevolent dictator is a leadership style that is more effective than micromanaging, managing by consensus and democratic rule. The benevolent dictator gathers input from staff and personally makes the right decision. Such a leader also holds members responsible for their decisions, and this responsibility extends to the lower levels of the organization. Related training and skills development are needed, particularly for project managers, to eliminate the unpleasant repercussion associated with making decisions that are unpopular with the group.
