Big pitch to small business

Article Abstract:

Prime minister John Howard's coalition policies for Australia's small businesses regarding extension of the Simplified Tax System, entrepreneurs tax discount, reduction of the ATO audit period and flexibility on home-based businesses are outlined and examined. The pro views of the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia (COSBOA) and the anti views of Senator Bob McMullan on the coalition policies are presented.
