Business Fliers Cope With Carry-On Rules

Article Abstract:

Airlines, at the prompting of the Federal Aviation Administration, have created restrictions on the amount of carry on luggage that passengers can take with them. Some companies are more lenient than others regarding carry-on luggage, while others have additional storage in the cabin. New luggage is being designed with airline space restrictions in mind. Luggage tips for business travelers are included.

Featured are businesses which have teamed up with other competing ventures to further the goals and assets of both companies. By culling resources some businesses have landed contracts which would have otherwise been lost because of lack of experience or know-how of a particular outfit. These customized companies have excelled at marketing their products and gaining a wider customer base.

Cutting costs before takeoff

Article Abstract:

Business travelers can reduce costs by purchasing tickets seven to 21 days in advance, flying at certain times or on certain days and accepting a layover at a hub city. Hotel brokers can offer discounts of as much as 50% on rooms. Another way to cut costs is to avoid unnecessary trips.
