Business forecasting in the 21st century

Forecasting as done by prophets and seers in the past used vision to make prophecies about the future, as it was believed they had a perfect vision. However, the professionals today are more scientific and the forecasts are based on facts, crystallized by statistical tools and enchanced by informed judgement.
