Carmiehael Lynch Opens Up Bolla Wines' Image

Article Abstract:

Carmichael Lynch has developed a new advertising campaign for Brown-Forman Corp.'s wine products. The television and print campaign will emphasize the Bolla brand's Italian heritage and spontaneous enjoyment. Some footage for the ads was filmed in Verona, Italy to lend it a feeling of genuine Italian flavor. The ads will begin airing on television on October 5, 1998.

Lee Jeans' Pan-European Account Fits Fallon's Plans for London Office

Article Abstract:

Advertising agency Fallon McElligott is considering opening an international office since it contracted for European campaigns for Lee Jeans, a subsidiary of VF Corp. Fallon intended to open an office in London, England, even if it did not receive the contract from the apparel company. The firm will staff the office with residents of the UK.

Hormel Tries the Other White Meat

BBDO Minneapolis is marketing Hormel Foods' new pork entrees with television advertisements. The selling point of the product is the meat's tenderness, which Hormel guarantees. The National Pork Producers Council is also promoting pork, but its supermarket advertising focuses on the meat's price.
