Choice of market entry mode in China: the influence of firm-specific factors

Article Abstract:

The choice of mode of entry into a foreign country is attracting wider attention for research into corporate internationalization. By combining the traditional theory on foreign direct investment with the resource-based view of the firm, the influence of various tangible and intangible corporate factors on the degree of commitment towards direct investment in China is analyzed.

The internationalisation process in family firms: choice of market entry strategies

Article Abstract:

A case study of family firms in the province of Alicante in Spain reveals that these firms follow the model as proposed by the Uppsala School. It is also found that the age, size and generation of the family firm has a major effect on the creation of international, strategic alliances.
