Creating employee value in a global economy through participation, motivation and development

Article Abstract:

The key factors to create and measure an environment for employee well being and satisfaction, leading to improved participation and morale to achieve enterprise-wide success in a global economy are highlighted. The importance of employee satisfaction to achieve customer satisfaction and major concepts, best practices and practical tools are discussed to better equip employers to energize their organizations in the competitive marketplace.

A comparative study of the performance measurement in global telecom operators

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted to examine the managerial performance efficiency of 36 telecommunications operators using the data envelopment analysis (DEA) technique. Results show that the scale of operators influences their operating efficiency. Findings also indicate that state-own telecoms operate more efficiently compared with privatized telecoms.
