Dimensions of manufacturing strength in the furniture industry

Article Abstract:

A study aimed at determining the core dimensions of manufacturing competitive strength in the furniture industry focused on strategic business units and individual firms. The study established the predictive validity of the dimensions of manufacturing strength in the industry by examining their relationship with overall firm performance. Results revealed four dimensions of manufacturing strength in the furniture industry namely: innovation, delivery, flexibility and value.

An analysis of operations efficiency in large-scale distribution systems

Article Abstract:

In order to evaluate the efficiency of a petroleum distribution system, the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used. This methodology, would help to identify the different causes of performance shortfalls, which would help the managers.

Goood idea of an article..it should have been other distribuion systems also.
