The company is a producer of a full line of golf equipment and accessories, which are the favorite choice of professional, top amateur and serious golfers. Taylor Made's forecasts are updated on a monthly basis as aided by the Demand Solutions Forecasting software. Forecasts for most of its products need a three-month lead time and involve both quantitative analysis and field research.

The firm is in the final stages of installing a company-wide master production schedule II and the corresponding materials requirement planning II system. A critical issue for the firm is the choice of forecasting software package. Business Forecasting Systems' Forecast Pro for Windows is finally selected for its numerous advantages.
