Have It Your Way

Article Abstract:

While there are many software programs available, there may not be one that fits a particular individual's needs. But there is a solution to this, software called program generators which allow the user to custom design their own program. While these program generators did not fare too well in the beginning, they have been adapted so that they are easy to use by almost anyone, and they now produce a wide variety of program types. The program generators not only create custom tailored programs, but can also be copied for others to use. These program generators are not the answers to all problems, and they often require the mastery of certain computer languages and skills to operate. The flexibility that they offer is attracting a lot of people who can create their own programs, and then go out and sell what they have created to others.

Dynasty founder Yax K'uk' Mo': according to the inscriptions

Article Abstract:

Inscriptions from the monuments and structures in Copan, Honduras, have allowed scholars of Mayan hieroglyphics to reconstruct the history of the dynasty of rulers that held sway over this city for 350 years. The first king in Copan's dynastic line was Yax K'uk' Mo' whose son Popol K'inich dedicated a tomb to his father around AD 437. Various texts over the next 300-odd years give more information on Copan's dynastic founder. The last of these texts are from Altar Q, which was commissioned by the last bonafide ruler at Copan Yax Pasah.
