How to Delegate Effectively

Article Abstract:

Delegation is an important part of organizational life. Many managers, realizing its importance, try delegation and fail. Managers who effectively delegate can extend their personal influence. Things that benefit the organization are tasks that can be delegated. It is often wise to delegate when delegation will improve performance. Management responsibilities and ill-defined activities should not be delegated. Capable people should be chosen to perform delegable tasks. Some control must be excercised over the delegation.
