Innovation implementation in high technology manufacturing: a chaos-theoretic empirical analysis

Article Abstract:

The problem of balancing the exploitation and exploration facets of process innovation implementation in high-technology manufacturing can be modeled using a logistic difference equation to study the balance under a chaos model. The use of the chaos model to study process innovation implementation derives its utility from the model's qualities of having a strange attractor and the dependence on initial conditions, both of which are sufficient to model the balance between exploitation and exploration.
