The "non-globalization" of innovation in the semiconductor industry

Article Abstract:

Most indicators of the globalization of innovation-related activities in the U.S. semiconductor industry signify only moderate offshore movement in major innovation-related activities. This suggests that a great deal of the innovations in the semiconductor industry remain non-globalized.
