NCR Predicts Strong 1984 Performance

NCR is expecting a strong year in 1984 for several reasons, including a more positive economic environment, further announcements in its next generation of products incorporating VLSI technology, and the acceptance of new products released to date. Scheduled 1984 product announcements include general purpose computers, transaction processing terminal systems, and various products for the financial and data communications market. During 1984 NCR will continue to emphasize industry standards in its products and plans to increase R&D spending and expenditures on advertising.
