Chicago, Illinois-based Cramer-Krasselt has commissioned a telephone survey to determine viewers responses to the controversy over the Monica Lewinsky-President Bill Clinton sex scandal. The firm was surprised to learn that a large percentage of parents have not taken any measures to restrict their children's viewing habits regarding television coverage of the scandal. The telephone survey, which reached 1,000 individuals over a 3-day period, was conducted through the MarketFacts' "TeleNation" survey.

Waylon Ad Gets HMO Coalition Ad Account

Article Abstract:

The health insurance industry has awarded a $15 million contract to Waylon Advertising to improve the image of managed care. A group called the Coalition for Affordable Quality Healthcare, which sponsors the ad, will also award contracts for public relations and media buying. Waylon has previously created advertising for Aetna Health-care units.

Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. of Wisconsin is marketing its beer in autumn 1998 by selling it in a triangular carton which can be worn as a hat. The carton resembles cheese, will appeal to fans of the Green Bay Packers football team, which is based in Wisconsin. Fans of the team often wear chees-shaped hats in order to show their support.
