Article Abstract:

The diversified natural gas industry consists of companies that produce, sell, process and transport natural gas. Statistics of some of the companies in the industry and their securities rankings as of March 18, 2005 are furnished. The diversified nature of the industry makes it difficult to take a call on which side the performance is likely to move. In general the sector will continue on its present course, though not with marked improvement, but some of the stocks from the sector are expected to record good appreciation.
