Pork marketers just think up another pitch

Article Abstract:

The Australian Pork Corp is attempting to boost its sales by conducting a new marketing campaign, incorporating a new marketing strategy. The goal of the campaign is to convince people to eat more pork instead of other meat. 'Just Think Pork,' is the new slogan. Flat sales motivated industry officials to find a new ways to sell their products. Pork sales have been on a decline during 1996 through 1998.

Fox creates a stir at venue for a show

Article Abstract:

Fox Studios Australia is building a new film production center in Sydney, and it has drawn complaints relating to the improper use of public land, procuring incentives from local politicians, and taking business away from the local film industry. Company officials say that they are simply building a creative hub for film production, and that complaints are ideological, rhetorical, and unfounded.

The award for the best product during 1997 goes to Yowie, a chocolate candy aimed at the children's market and given a nationalist marketing strategy.
