Cutting Out Service Contracts May Not Save You Money

Article Abstract:

Unlike mechanical-electrical machines, electronic equipment does not have breakdowns that are as predictable in terms of usage. The complexity of diagnosing their failures makes repairs or replacement of parts costlier. Maintenance contracts ensure free maintenance, updating at minor costs, and usually preferential service. Since service contract purchases help pay for the stocking of spare parts, contract customers get priority.
