WICAT Runs WP on Entire Range

MUCAT is a word processing system by WICAT (Australia) that can be integrated with data processing and data base management applications of WICAT's Office Automation System. MUCAT includes document formatting, spelling checks, security controls, plus standard and special automatic features such as subscripts, superscripts, and column manipulation. Training and support services are offered by WICAT. The system is applicable for government, education, and business word processing uses.

Software Runs Computer - Indexed Filing

Article Abstract:

The modular-designed Computer Assisted Information Retrieval Systems (CAIRS) is a group of programs which performs eighty tasks involved in the creation, maintenance, and operation of large files of technical material. CAIRS can run on several mini and mainframe computers. Written in the RTL2 language, the software can support fifteen terminals, enter up to a million references and organize sixteen independent data bases. It is ideally suited to labor-intensive government functions.

Mini Runs Hotel

Article Abstract:

The Manly Pacific International Hotel has selected Marathon's Rexon RX20-2 to run its reservation, stock, payroll and accounting systems. The hotel chose the minicomputer because of its fifty megabytes of storage capacity. Hotel employees have found it easy to learn to use the computer with a minimum of training. The hotel expects to add word processing and terminals in the restaurants.
