There are increasing concerns about the possibility of unexpected side effects and reactions in the Viagra impotency drug. These side effects and reactions can occur when the Viagra is taken with other medicines. The deaths of 10 more men who took Viagra were reported by federal regulators. Before the 10 deaths, six such cases had been reported. Users in the 16 deaths were taking medications along with the Viagra that had not been tested formally.

Pfizer Inc. is conducting an aggressive probe into the deaths of six people who used the company's Viagra impotence drug. Pfizer and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that they were uncertain as to the connection between the deaths and the Viagra drug. Both Pfizer and the FDA reminded the public that Viagra is considered to be extremely safe to use. Currently, there is no cause to place additional restrictions on the Viagra.

European Commission is set to clear Pfizer's Viagra for sale in EU nations

The European Commission (EC) is expected to approve the sale of Pfizer Inc.'s Viagra impotence drug in the fifteen countries that constitute the European Union (EU). The European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products ruled positively about the Viagra drug in May 1998. The agency made its ruling after reviewing safety and efficacy data from Pfizer.
