Bundling: Advantage to Dealer and Consumer

Article Abstract:

Offering several computer peripherals and software as one package, a practice known as bundling, has proven to be a successful retailing practice. It has provided retailers with additional profits and first time consumers with all the equipment they need to get started computing immediately. Manufacturers are less reluctant to bundle, feeling the low-end buyer is becoming more individualized in needs and that point-of-sale bundling can better take into account customer differences.
