The opinions of people who claim to be experts should not be accepted as fact without a serious investigation into their backgrounds and sources. A tax expert in Australia suggested that new tax laws might have a negative effect on many people, and he was believed because of his expert status. This information caused a great deal of excitement because of the uncertainty of the Australian economy and the impending election.
