3M expects to miss earnings estimates

Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co. (3M) is forecasting lower than expected earnings for the 2001 second-quarter and for the full year. The company, which was expecting $1.19 per share earnings, now expects $1.10 to $1.14 per share.

Minnesota Mining posts 11% rise in net
