Swiss opera star Noemi Nadelmann has been known for her clear voice and powerful performances. She first debuted in Venice in 1987. Since that time she has been performed in many major European opera houses. She was first exposed to opera at the tender age of five. Since both of her parents are performing artists, she has mastered both talents necessary for being successful onstage, singing and acting. She confesses that her role model had been Maria Callas.

The Swiss Electricity Supply Assn is inviting all interested customers to participate in a Solar Energy Exchange program. The association, composed of 450 local utility companies serving approximately one-third of the Swiss population, is offering their clients the opportunity to pay extra money in exchange for electricity that comes from solar power generating plants. The invitation comes with the electricity bill.
