ARB take note: courtesy costs nothing

Article Abstract:

Many architects have been appalled by the tone of the ARB's annual fee 'demand', and Herb Meyer has resigned over what he considered was an insulting demand, forfeiting his right to use the title 'architect'. Professionals who fail to pay will not be able to use the title 'architect', but suspending registration payments will not take away essential qualities that makes them architects. Registration appears merely to reflect an eligibility for a registration 'tax' that applies unfairly to architects.
