The Learning Company is in the process of introducing a series of primary school educational software packages using a video game type of graphics. Juggles' Rainbow costs about 24 pounds and teaches a variety of spatial concepts to non-readers between three and six years old. Gertrude's Secrets costs about forty- three pounds and helps the four to nine year old use logical thinking in relation to colors and shapes. Gertrude's Puzzles also costs about forty-three pounds and is for six year olds and older and is designed to help a child to recognize differences in shapes or colors. Bumble Plot costs 35 pounds and helps eight to ten year olds understand various phases of two-dimensional coordinate geometry.

A number of British software companies have developed space warfare video games that can be played on Apple computers. The five games: Asteroid Field, Star Thief, Cyclotron, Star Blaster and Warp Destroyer can use paddle, joysticks, or the keyboard for manuevering a spacecraft and firing various weapons at the enemy. A major factor to consider in reviewing these games is that most of them still have a two-dimension quality in the screen graphics and movement.
