Berne - the living legend

Article Abstract:

The simple and rustic city of Berne in Switzerland is famous for its farmers' markets which offer fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, bread and cheeses. The city, which was founded by Berchthold V Duke of Zahringen in 1191 as a fortress, also offers famous and breathtaking sights such as the Zytglogge Clock Tower, numerous fountains, landmarks and colorful folklore exhibit the artistic talents of the Bernese community. Tourist can also shop, come to the opera or ballet, visit museums and art galleries, and engage in sports when in Berne.

Sports training set high

Article Abstract:

The Swiss Sports School Magglingen (SSSM) differs from other sports schools in terms of administration. SSSM key functions are united under one administrative unit which expedites the teaching and training of the nation's athletes. The SSSM is composed of four main departments. These are the Federal Office for Sport, the education and training centers, the center for sports and sciences and the library. Aside from training athletes and coaches, the school also focuses on the sporting needs of elderly people.

Europe's regional airport

Article Abstract:

The EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg is owned by both France and Switzerland as it is located on their border and serves the two countries including the area of Freiburg in Germany. The airport's officials are planning to add more facilities with the expected growth in traffic and passengers. Switzerland's Crossair aircraft dominate the facility. There are around 61 of them flying to 72 places in the European continent.
