Bertelsmann settles AOL Europe dispute: company backs off threat to fight ex-officials' suit over their role in venture

Bertelsmann AG officials decided not to pursue a lawsuit over the sale of its stake in AOL Europe, stemming from its joint venture with that company. The settlement was prompted by the awards granted two former Bertelsmann executives by a California jury.
