Breathing life into Leaside

Article Abstract:

Patel Taylor and URS have come up with a development strategy for the Leaside Arc in London, England. Various mixed-use communities including residential and commercial development would be involved. Leaside Regeneration authorized the work that is being examined by the London Development Agency and councilors.

The various designs by he architectural firm, HerZog & de Meuron, the winner of Stirling Prize 2003 are discussed. The early work of the firm was loosely described as post-modern but the later works were far removed from post-modernism.
