Buying talk time
Article Abstract:
Poland is seeking an investor for Telekomunikacja Polksa (TPSA) which has already had a stake floated on the Polish stock exchange. Competition is also set to increase in the Polish telecoms industry. SBC and France Telecom are competing to acquire a stake of between 25% and 35% in TPSA. The company still has an excessive number of employees and there is a need for restructuring. TPSA could also face serious competition from a number of sources.
