CITIL TO COMMERCIALISE FLEXIS TRAINING TOOL

Article Abstract:

Citicorp Information Technology Industries Limited (Citil) proposes to commercialise its project monitoring and training tool called Flexis. Flexis is also an enterprise- wide automation tool that can be used in software development. It has a variety of features such as defect analysis and software tracking. The product is aimed at corporates searching for tools to help them in their software development processes. Citil proposes to introduce the product by the end of April 1999. Citil has also developed a management support decision system called FlexCubeInfo Centre. (ag)(psr)

AMSOFT OPENS US UNIT, PLANS ONE MORE IN MALAYSIA

Article Abstract:

(AISL), a software services company, has floated a subsidiary in the US. The new subsidiary is called AmSoft Information Services Inc (AISI). The MS Ramaiah Group will hold 49 percent stake in AISI, while the rest will be held by PKS Information Systems of the US. AISL is also planning to set up a subsidiary in Malaysia. It is negotiating with Suiwah Corporation of Malaysia for the proposed Malaysian subsidiary. (ag)(psr)
