Article Abstract:
There has been an increase of marijuana imports into the US from Canada, where growers have specialized in a product with a high THC content. Vancouver is said to be a center for growing marijuana due to US immigrants who went to live there in the 1960s in order to avoid being sent to Vietnam. An estimated tenth of the residents of British Colombia grow or smoke marijuana. There is greater tolerance of marijuana in Canada than in the US, where it is sometimes classed with heroin and cocaine. Smugglers arrested include a man of 77-years-old and a woman of 71-years-old.

Hells Angels, crime and Canada
Article Abstract:
The Hells Angels motorcycle gang originated in California and spread first throughout the United States, then the rest of the world. Canadian law enforcement is fighting a war between Quebec's Hells Angels faction and an existing gang called the Rock Machine.
