Chello Broadband cuts market value of its flotation

Chello Broadband NV, an internet access company and a subsidiary of United Pan-Communications NV, will lower the flotation value of the company to about 4 billion euros in preparation for its planned initial planned offering which hopes to raise 400 million euros.

Freeserve to let users trade stock via Internet

Article Abstract:

Freeserve PLC is planning to provide stock trading on the Internet by the early part of 2000. Freeserve is the largest internet service provider in Great Britain. Analysts believe that the new service will begin operations in what will be a crowded marketplace by January 2000. Freeserve is planning to offer securities both in the US and in the UK. The company will then offer continental European securities soon afterwards.
