RWE to buy rest of its Lahmeyer unit

Article Abstract:

RWE AG announced that it is planning to acquire all the Lahmeyer AG's shares that it does not already own. Lahmeyer is RWE's electricity and engineering unit. The shares include a 15.6% holding from Allianz AG. RWE will be buying the shares for 47 euros ($52.92) per share. The offer gives Lahmeyer a value of 4.23 billion euros. The plan is part of RWE's corporate reorganization.
