Co-op advertising models in manufacturer-retailer supply chains:A game theory approach

Article Abstract:

In co-operative advertising, the role of the manufacturer has typically received prominence over that of the retailer, although this balance has begun to shift. The role of the efficiency of vertical co-op advertising is is investigated relating to aspects of the manufacturer-retailer supply chain.

Determination of the portfolio selection for a property-liability insurance company

Article Abstract:

A model wherein a property-liability insurer can achieve the maximum return threshold for a given threshold risk level in developing insurance and investment portfolios is introduced. The model can determine the optimal composition of these portfolios by considering and adjusting the insurer's threshold risk and relaxing some non-realistic assumptions in traditional chance constraint insurance and investment portfolio models.

Dominance stochastic models in data envelopment analysis

Article Abstract:

Several data envelopment analysis (DEA) models are proposed. The models employ polyhedral dominance structures on the DEA envelopment side to reflect a modeler's preferences and enhance stochastic efficiency discrimination between decision-making units. Unlike other DEA models, they use joint chance constraints and allow stochastic variations in input-output data to be considered.
