Coca-Cola recalls bottles in Belgium health scare

Article Abstract:

Coca-Cola Enterprises Belgium announced a recall of up to 2.5 million bottles of Coke in Belgium. The recall comes in response to an incident where 41 children became ill after drinking Coke at a school. The children said that Coke gave off a different odor than what they were accustomed to from the product. The children, ages 12 to 14, drank the Coke due to the fact there was a contest. Coca-Cola Belgium is awarding prizes in exchange for bottle caps.

Austria's new government meets with opposition politicians in order to work out a response to the European Union's diplomatic sanctions. The EU's harsh policies are a result of the far-right Freedom Party's ascent to the forefront of Austrian politics.
