Combining operations

Article Abstract:

Deputy Leader of the UK Labour party John Prescott commands a newly combined ministry in 1997. Uncertainties concerning combining these departments include whether the environment department will take precedence over the smaller transport department, and whether issues, including architecture, will have any focus in such a vast ministry.
