Cramps

Article Abstract:

More than 75% of ovulating women suffer cramps about two days per month. Remedies that can ease the pain include drug therapy and heat. Exercise and diet are important and supplements of calcium and potassium aid in relaxation and ease fluid retention.

PMS: how to control the monthly blues

Article Abstract:

Only 2 to 5% of women experience severe premenstrual syndrome (PMS), but 50 to 75% have mild symptoms, including weight gain, bloating and irritability. PMS can be relieved by a healthy diet, exercise, sufficient sleep and stress reduction.

Cramps may be a warning sign

Article Abstract:

Extremely painful menstrual cramps should not be ignored, particularly when accompanied by fatigue which can indicate endometriosis. Care and treatment of the condition is described.
