Creeping to justice: the Oklahoma bombing trial

Article Abstract:

Oklahoma City bombing suspect Timothy McVeigh and his alleged accomplice, Terry Nichols, are set to appear at pre-trial hearings on May 1st, 1996. The case has been slow in getting to trial because of the various legal motions filed so far, least of which has been moving the trial to Denver, Colorado.

Into the woods: the Oklahoma City trial

Article Abstract:

The cases against bombing suspects Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, who will be tried separately, may be more difficult to prosecute because of government ineptitude. A possible conspiracy among neo-Nazis with regard to the bombing is discussed.

The fight to be fair: pre-trial proceedings

Article Abstract:

Many question whether the trial of alleged Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh can be fair. The possible juror pool is diminished by rules that require jurors to believe in the death penalty and know little about the widely published case.
