DENMARK: AGREEMENT ABOUT FIXED TELEPHONY

Article Abstract:

The Danish operator Sonofon is now allowed to distribute Tele Danmark's fixed network services on the Danish market, according to an agreement between Tele Danmark and GN Store Nord, which is the parent company of Sonofon. From now on, Sonofon is able to offer a complete range of services without having to make investments in infrastructure. The deal with Tele Danmark includes subscriptions of telephony and ISDN services, additional services (so-called key-in-yourself services) etc.

Denmark:ButlerNetworks gets another DKr40mn from owners

Article Abstract:

ButlerNetworks' owners, GlobalConnect and US Norwest Equity Partners, have given another DKr40mn to the company for the building of a wireless broadband network. ButlerNetworks already disposes of DKr126mn for the purpose. ButlerNetworks' new MD Henrik Vestergaard says this move was not prompted by an acute demand for capital.

Denmark: GN ReSound wins contract from British NHS

Article Abstract:

The British National Health Service (NHS) has awarded GN Store Nord's subsidiary GN ReSound a contract for the supply of audiology patient management system AuditBase. AuditBase is used among other things for the control of client registrations, deals and medical records.
