DENMARK: MTHS AND E.PIHL&SON TO BUILD GIGA HEADQUARTERS

Article Abstract:

MTHS a/s and E.Pihl & Son A.S. have been awarded the contract to build headquarters for Giga, the American IT company's subsidiary. The headquarters will measure 21,000 square metres, and the contract is valued at around DKr300mn (US$34.8mn). Construction will commence next week. It was the international firm of advisors Jones Lang that helped to finalise the contract.

Denmark: MT Hojgaard and Pihl in a joint venture

Article Abstract:

MT Hojgaard and Pihl have signed a joint venture agreement for the construction of the first phase of the new shopping and entertainment centre Fields in Orestaden. The developers of the Fields center are TK Development and Steen & Strom. The parties have declined to disclose the value of the contract but it is estimated to exceed DKr2bn (US$240mn).

Denmark: Pihl & Son awarded opera house contract

Article Abstract:

E.Pihl & Son has been awarded the contract to build the new opera house in Copenhagen. The contract is valued at around DKr1bn (US$120mn). Pihl & Son was chosen by Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, the building contractor for the opera house project.
