Decision support systems, groupware, multimedia and electronic commerce: Seventh MINI EURO Conference

Article Abstract:

Issues related to decision support system, groupware, multimedia and electornic commerce were discussed in the Seventh MINI EURO Conference held in Bruges, Belgium. The conference, which was conducted from March 24 to 27, 1997, involved presentation of papers ranging from executive information systems to diffusing electronic information. It also included a tutorial day were professors Angehrn and Jelassi discussed the topics of multimedia and electronic commerce.

A multiattractor model for the dynamic control of companies

Article Abstract:

The Kolm's triangle approach was proposed for the dynamic control of firms. Kolm's triangle illustrate the unfavorable dynamic evolution that result from a changing environment and from an unbalance between the three management levels. It specifically illustrates management level deficiencies in relation to three time perspectives, namely short, medium and long term horizons.
