Denmark: Ico-Ica not successful in expansion strategy

ICA Ahold, the grocery retail chain, is not successful in its expansion strategy in Denmark. Ica and its Danish partner Iso have not managed to make the acquisitions necessary for it. Iso-Ica is concentrating on the Greater Copenhagen area and has so far given up plans to become nation-wide. The latest failure for Iso-Ica was the sale of Gobi Superstore chain to KFI Erhvervsinvest.
