GREECE: DANISH GREEN ENERGY FIGHTING THE CLOCK

Danish company Greentech Energy Systems is fighting time when trying win rights to develop wind power plants in Greece. The current Greek government is favorable towards wind power, but this can change after the national elections held in March. Greentech Energy Systems MD Anker Ekelund says his company must win as many projects as possible before then.

DENMARK: ENERCON TO TARGET MARKET

Article Abstract:

Enercon, the German producer of wind power generators, will start targeting the Danish market, mainly by bidding for future offshore wind farms. The company has employed the Dane Jorn Kristensen, which has been the head of Wincon West Wind, to manage Enercon's operations in Denmark. So far, Enercon has mainly concentrated on the German domestic market.
