DENMARK: NORDEN'S 1999 RESULTS

The Danish real estate company Norden reports a DKr 279mn (USD 38mn) pre-tax profit for 1999, a 80% increase compared with 1998. If extra-ordinary revenues are excluded, the profit improved by 20%. Norden is a leading player in the town development project at Orestaden, Amager .

DENMARK: NORDICOM TO ENTER DEVELOPER MARKET

Article Abstract:

The Danish real-estate company Nordicom is to enter the developer market, including housing construction and property development. Director Gunnar Kristensen says the company may build about 150 dwellings a year. Already by now, the company is involved in housing projects in Arhus and Roskilde.
