Entrepreneurial networking in Japanese management

Article Abstract:

The entrepreneurial nature of micro-level networking in Japanese management was investigated. It is shown that the entrepreneurial character of networking in Japanese companies helps to facilitate the flow of information and offsets the negative effects of compartmentalization. However, this also prevents Japanese multinational corporations from achieving a genuine localization of overseas management.

Greens disrupt Antarctic whaling: as the Japanese carry out research

Article Abstract:

Some of the Japanese ships whaling illegally in Antarctic region were deliberately sideswiped by Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace, who wanted to stop this activity in whale sanctuary. Greens also displaced Japanese research ships in the region.
